Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 22, 2025

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you when using NegoPeer.

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") applies to the services provided by AdaGeek Inc. ("AdaGeek," "we," "us," or "our") through our product NegoPeer, available at negopeer.com and related applications (collectively, the "Services"). It explains what information we collect from users of our Services ("you" or "your"), including information that may identify you personally ("Personal Information"), how we use it, and the choices available to you.

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Policy on this page and revising the "Last Updated" date, and, where appropriate, by sending notice to the email associated with your account. Your continued use of the Services after any update means you accept the revised Policy.

Information We Collect

When you use NegoPeer, we collect information that you provide directly, information we collect automatically, and information from trusted third-party services.

Account Information

To create an account, we require your email address and a password. If you sign in through a third-party provider such as Google, we collect authentication details from that service.

Conversation and Practice Data

When you participate in practice conversations, we may collect text, audio, or video recordings, transcripts, feedback, and performance analytics. If you enable features such as video input or screen sharing, we collect and process that information as well. These recordings and transcripts are private to your account unless you choose to share them.

Payment Information

We use third-party payment processors such as Stripe to handle subscriptions. We do not store your credit card or banking details on our servers.

Support and Communication

If you contact us for support or participate in a survey, we collect the information you provide in those interactions.

Technical and Usage Data

We automatically collect certain technical information when you use the Services, including your IP address, device type, operating system, browser, and information about how you interact with features on our platform. We also use cookies and similar technologies to understand usage patterns and improve your experience.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Services; to personalize your practice sessions; to generate intelligent feedback; to communicate with you about your account, security issues, or product updates; to detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized use; and to comply with legal obligations.

Model Training Opt-Out: With your explicit consent, we may use anonymized or de-identified conversation data to train and improve our models. You may opt out of this use at any time. When you opt out, your practice data will not be used for training, though it may still be processed to deliver the Services to you.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your Personal Information. We may share it only in the following circumstances:

With Service Providers

We engage trusted third parties to help us operate the Services, including cloud hosting providers, technology service providers, and analytics services. These providers process data only on our behalf and under strict confidentiality obligations.

For Legal Compliance

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AdaGeek, our users, or others.

In Business Transactions

If AdaGeek is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

With Your Consent

We may share your information in other ways if you give us explicit permission.

Data Storage and Security

All data is stored in secure servers located in North America. We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your Personal Information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. While no system is completely secure, we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.

Data Retention

We retain your Personal Information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Services. When you delete a conversation or your account, associated data is removed from our active systems within seven days and from backups within thirty days, except where longer retention is required for legal or compliance reasons. Anonymized and aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained for analytics and product improvement.

Your Rights and Choices

You may access, correct, or delete your account information and conversation history through your account settings. You may also request a copy of your data or object to certain types of processing by contacting us at hello@negopeer.com. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link, and you may opt out of having your anonymized data used for model training by contacting us with the subject line "Model Training Opt-Out."

Children's Privacy

NegoPeer is intended for adults and is not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or the age of digital consent in your region). We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly.

International Users

Although our Services are operated and data is stored in North America, if you access NegoPeer from outside this region, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in North America. If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or other regions with specific data protection laws, you may have additional rights, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
